The new Samsung Galaxy Note II has leaked bearing Verizon Wireless branding. The Note II will be Verizon’s first Samsung phablet, having missed out on the success of the original Galaxy Note.
Verizon is yet to confirm that they will be stocking the new Galaxy Note II but as the photos show, the phablet is real and will be heading to Big Red soon enough.
Announced at IFA 2012, the International version of the Galaxy Note II features a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display with LTE connectivity and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. The Verizon Galaxy Note II is expected to feature the same specs, including the 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) front display and most likely the same 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor.
Unfortunately the images could quite easily be a mock-up and whilst it’s likely that Verizon will launch the Note II, it’s unclear when that launch will happen.
