Dell’s first Windows 8 tablet has been revealed thanks to a leak of its specs list, which boasts 2GB RAM and an dual-core Intel Atom processor alongside the new Windows 8 operating system.
The Latitude 10 will feature a 10.1″ HD (1366×768 pixels) resolution display featuring multi-touch as well as optional input using a stylus. The slate will also feature a fingerprint reader, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, integrated Intel graphics and a whopping 128GB solid-state drive to take care of your storage needs.
One of the unique features about the Latitude 10 is its removable battery, with Dell offering two battery options for the slate; a smaller battery will deliver six to eight hours of use whilst the larger one delivers between 10 and 12 hours of battery life per charge.
We’re expecting the Dell Latitude 10 to launch later this year, and whilst pricing is not yet known, we’d expect it to be competitive. It’s also unclear whether Dell’s Next Day Business Support (for companies and small businesses) will be available on the slate.
