HTC event September 1st; two new Windows Phone devices?

HTC are planning on holding an event on 1st September in several locations around the world. BGR reports that the Taiwanese manufacturer is in fact planning to use the event to launch two new Windows Phone 7 Mango based devices.

The HTC Eternity is expected to feature a 3.8 inch screen alongside an 8MP snapper whilst the Omega is being lined up as the successor to the HTC HD7 and could feature a high resolution 4.5 inch screen as well as a 1.5 GHz processor. Both devices are believed to have 16GB internal storage. One of these devices may turn out to be the rumoured HTC Ignite which is a Windows Phone 7 clone of the popular HTC Sensation.
